Yeduguri Sandinti Rajasekhara Reddy
Yeduguri Sandinti Rajasekhara Reddy born on July 8, 1949 in a Christian bourgeoisie family at Pulivendula,in Kadapa district,He was the eldest son among the five sons of YS Raja Reddy. YSR Reddy expressed interest in politics while studying at MR Medical College, Gulbarga, Karnataka. After completing his training as a doctor,YSR joined as medical officer at the Jammalamadugu Mission Hospital temporarily. In 1973,YSR, was the Chief Minister of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. He represented the Indian National Congress party.He was elected to the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Lok Sabha from the Kadapa constituency for four terms and to the Andhra Pradesh Assembly for five terms from the Pulivendula constituency.in the next general and assembly elections held in 2004.On September 2nd 2009 a helicopter carrying YSR went missing in Nallamala forest area.confirmed by the Prime Minster’s office and all 5 persons aboard were pronounced dead at the top of Rudrakonda Hill, 40 nautical miles from Kurnool.
